Ask the headhunterOriginal Post Subject: Salary Range Date: June 13, 2007 02:36 PM Hi, I am currently a Librarian at an Architecture Firm. But would like to become an A/E Representative. I am going to take my CDT in August and then my LEED AP. I would like to know what's the entry lvl salary for an A/E Rep position and what is the salary if you work at a showroom in Manhattan. Thanks for your help! Replies
Subject: Salary Information From: Stephen Date: June 14, 2007 11:48 AM Salary ranges have many variables to take into consideration and looking for an exact figure for a particular position is very difficult. Salary ranges vary from region to region, state to state, city to city and even company to company. These ranges are nearly impossible to solidify based soley on a title. Different size companies and the necessity of the position are both big factors. The individual's experience and, in the case of someone who is headhunted, the current salary of the candidate also play a big part in salary determination. If you want figures, the Department of Labor for both the US government and individual governments maintain lists of job and salaries. However, the ranges for these figures can often be tens of thousands of dollars depending on the position due to the numerous factors involved in determining a salary. Best, Stephen |
